Refund and Returns Policy

Easy 7-day return policy

If you are dissatisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return it to SANIFIX within 7 days of the purchase date, subject to the conditions and exclusions as stated below.

Eligibility for product return

All returned items must be in new condition, in their original unaltered box (including intact QR/BAR code), and must include all packing material, blank warranty cards, manuals, accompanying free items and accessories. 

Important! 

  • If the below conditions are not met, SANIFIX reserves the right to refuse the return or to charge a minimum of 15% restocking fee based on purchase price. 
  • Should you choose to keep any of the free items that comes with your purchase, the retail value of those items will be deducted from your reimbursement total.

Non-returnable items

We do not accept returns on the following products:

  • Special order items/non-stock items
  • Made-to-order /customised/cut-to-size items
  • Cement-based or cementitious products
  • Construction steel bars/structural steel/industrial metal products
  • Wood, timber, and related products
  • Products with shelf life/expiry dates
  • Tinted paint 

Defective or damaged items

  • If you receive defective or damaged items, you must inform us within 2 working days. 
  • Defective items may be repaired, exchanged, or refunded for the same model or an equivalent model from the manufacturer, at our discretion. Our team will inspect the items and advise on the appropriate action. 

Exchanges

Please allow 5-7 business days for exchanges to be processed.

Refunds 

  • Once we receive and inspect your item(s), we will credit your account. Please allow 7-10 days for a credit to appear. 
  • In most cases, we will issue your refund in the same way you made the original purchase. 
  • If payment was made by credit card, the refund credit will be issued no sooner than 14 business days after the date of purchase. We will only refund to the same issuing bank account. 
  • We can only refund the original purchase price. 
  • Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable. 

Limited liability

  • SANIFIX is not responsible for personal data or items left in the returned product. 
  • SANIFIX is not responsible for any consequential or incidental damage resulting from the sale or use of any products purchased from us. 
  • SANIFIX is responsible for the monetary value of the products only. 

Important! Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 2 business days of receiving said items.

To return a  product

If the conditions stated above are met, you may proceed to return the product. 

Step 1: Call us at +603-8706-2522 (ext 1 – sales & customer service) or email onlineshop@sanifixhardware.com  a photo of the item along with your receipt number, within 2 days of receiving the product.

Step 2: Our customer service will send you a return form. Please fill up the form and send it back to us.

Step 3: Place the item in the original manufacturer’s packaging. Put your invoice inside the box too. Be sure to pack it properly to avoid damaging the item.

Important

  • Shipping fees are to be borne by the customer. 
  • We recommend that you ship via an insured courier service that provides tracking numbers. 
  • We will not be held responsible for lost packages. 
  • You may also return the item in person, to our headquarters in Bandar Serenia. (see below)

To return a product in person

  • Please follow Step 1-3 above.
  • Products are to be returned to our HQ in Bandar Serenia, Sepang.
  • Call us at +603-8706-2522 (ext 1 – sales & customer service) and let us know when you would like to come by.
